2. About EPAN
EPAN is a privately operated identity and verification infrastructure developed by Vernata Labs.
It is not a government-issued identity system and holds no statutory authority.
3. Eligibility
Users must be legally competent under Indian law. By using EPAN, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
- You must not share credentials with others
- Any activity under your account is your responsibility

EPAN operates on a transparency model. Certain information such as EPAN ID, verification status, and public flags may be visible.

EPAN reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently ban accounts based on violations, risk scoring, or abuse detection systems.
10. Intellectual Property
All systems, branding, databases, and technologies are owned by Vernata Labs.
11. Service Availability
Services are provided "as-is" without guarantees of uptime, availability, or error-free performance.
12. Limitation of Liability
Vernata Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of EPAN.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vernata Labs from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from misuse of EPAN.

EPAN integrates third-party services which operate independently.

Use of EPAN is governed by our Privacy Policy.

EPAN may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
18. Jurisdiction
Courts in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

EPAN is a private infrastructure and not affiliated with any government system.
